Since the founding of the Austrian Suzuki Institute for Music in March 2013, Austria has been one of 26 member countries of the European Suzuki Association. The ASIoM regards itself as a network for instrumental teachers and musicians, pupils and parents, schools and event organisers, music lovers and enthusiasts.

• organisation of Suzuki workshops, concerts and orchestra exchange programmes
• a platform for Austrian Suzuki teachers with international diplomas
• the implementation of the Suzuki method at music schools in Austria
